Traveling with picky eaters? It doesn’t have to Traveling with picky eaters? It doesn’t have to be stressful! 🧳🍽️ While food is a huge part of culture for Tim and me, our boys aren’t always up for adventurous eats. That’s why I research restaurants ahead of time to find places with something for everyone—so we get to try local dishes without the stress. We also modify meals (pasta with olive oil? Sure!) and let them choose anything on the menu… which led to their first-ever hamburgers in Paris (minus the peppercorn mayo 😂). We also like to visit local grocery stores and let them pick anything they want so we can find snacks for between meals. And now they have favorite foods in all of the countries we’ve visited (thinking of you TimTam). Traveling with picky eaters? Plan ahead, be flexible, and make it fun! ✈️🍕🍜 👋 Hi! I’m Gina. I love traveling with my husband Tim and our two children. So far we have taken over 40 trips and visited 17 countries as a family. Turn “Are We Done Yet?” into “Can We Stay Lo Turn “Are We Done Yet?” into “Can We Stay Longer?” 🎨✨ When we visited Amsterdam, Tim wanted to go to the Van Gogh Museum—but let’s be real, art museums aren’t always a hit with kids. Luckily, we did some research ahead of time and discovered they had a special Pokémon x Van Gogh exhibition during our visit! Suddenly, what could have been a “How much longer?” experience turned into “Whoa, look at Pikachu as Van Gogh!” The boys were actually excited to be there, and we got to explore everything we wanted to see. Then at the Rijksmuseum, we booked the children’s audio tour, even though it was designed for younger kids. It turned out to be one of the best decisions of the trip! Instead of aimlessly wandering, we all got tablets and had to complete a scavenger hunt to find the museum’s top masterpieces. It was fun, interactive, and kept everyone engaged while we took in the incredible art. 💡 Travel Tip: Before you visit a museum, check if they have special exhibitions or family-friendly tours—they can completely change the experience and make it enjoyable for everyone! Have you ever found something unexpected that made a museum visit way more fun? Drop your stories below! ⬇️🎨✨ #FamilyTravel #VanGoghMuseum #Rijksmuseum #TravelWithKids

❄️ Walking Inside a Glacier at Mer de Glace! 🏔️ Swipe through to see one of the most incredible (and sobering) experiences we’ve ever had in Chamonix. A visit to this massive glacier is absolutely breathtaking—but each year, it’s disappearing more and more. 📍 To get there, we took a scenic cogwheel train and then a gondola. When the ice cave was first carved out, it was right at the base of the gondola. When we visited you had to walk 530 steps down to reach it… and they have been adding more every year as the ice melts. This past December, they unveiled a new gondola to help get visitors closer, but there are still nearly 200 steps down. Standing inside the glacier was an unforgettable experience, but also a stark reminder of how fast our world is changing. So glad we got to see it while it’s still here. Have you ever walked inside a glacier? Would you visit? Let me know below! 👇 #Chamonix #MerDeGlace #ClimateChange #TravelMoments
