Secret Caves and Passageways: Don’t Miss Devil’s Den

It might just look like a pile of rocks, but Devil’s Den is actually more than that. It was originally used to hide soldiers during the Battle of Gettysburg in 1863. Today it’s a place you can visit, climb on and learn more about the Battle. I like it because there are secret caves (I can’t tell you where they are because it’s a secret!) that you might find while climbing.

You should wear sneakers and comfortable clothes so you can hike around like I did. Be careful for steep drops and spaces between rocks where you could fall. Be on the lookout for secret caves and passages.

The boys' favorite place to visit is Devil's Den, where they can explore the rock formations and secret passageways and caves between them.

Devil’s Den is awesome because there are lots of places to explore. You should definitely check it out!
