Learn How Bats Are Made

This was seriously the coolest part because this is actually where they make Louisville Slugger bats. Start your tour by learning about the forests in New York and Pennsylvania where they grow the wood for their bats. And then follow that wood straight through the factory.

See the wood go through the lathe and go from a long cylinder of wood until it resembles a bat. Watch it get the Louisville Slugger emblem get burnished into the smooth wood. Then watch them dip the finished bat.

Celebrate the Greats

Throughout the museum there are plaques and displays celebrating the great players, teams and stadiums. Outside of the museum there are a series of home plates honoring baseballs greatest of all time. Grab your bat and take the plate of one of the greats!
