We are a family of four who love to experience new adventures in new places. When our youngest was in kindergarten, we decided we could venture further than Disney World and grandma’s house and start to see the world.
After our first trip abroad – to England – we knew we were hooked on international travel! We know there’s only so much money to spend when we travel, so we are very conscious of our budget and really pack in the (mostly free or low cost) activities so that we always leave feeling like we really experienced that location. We prefer to stay in vacation homes that allow us to spread out, make our own meals and feel more like we’re at home even though we’re away, but we also know that each location has its own special needs and considerations.
For years people have asked us how we plan our trips and asked for recommendations on creating their own, so we created this blog to share our past itineraries and share what we’ve learned and what has worked for us over the years.
