United States Travel Guides

We have explored 18 states in the past 5 years. Our country is amazing with such strong history and immense diversity of geography, terrain and climate and we enjoy seeing all that it has to offer.

We love to visit National Parks where we can experience nature and history. We have hiked, swam and picnicked, while taking in the amazing natural beauty of our country at Yosemite and Everglades National Parks as well as learned about our county’s history in Philadelphia and Fort Sumter. The boys are avid Junior Ranger fans and we’ve all learned so much from those activity books.

We visited the US Capitol and Library of Congress in Washington DC and the Statue of Liberty and 9-11 Memorial in New York City. But we’ve also spent time sitting on the shores of Keuka Lake and Lake Tahoe. We’re huge fans of Disney World, Legoland, Universal Studios and Hershey Park too.

Traveling as a family can be exhausting and challenging and leave you feeling like you need a vacation from your vacation. We’ve been there! But it can also be an amazing opportunity to relax together, learn together, laugh together and experience something new together.

We hope sharing our experiences here will make traveling more interesting and exciting for your family and a little easier too.

You can see all of the places we’ve visited on the map below. As we publish information about those places, you’ll be able to click through to read about them. We’ve also included photo tiles below that take you directly to information about some of our favorite places.
